This soft white, little ceramic shelf with pink flower detail is the home of a sweet Mama pig and her baby. These figurines come in two different sizes - one is larger than the other - to represent the bond between mother and child. Place it anywhere you enjoy spending time in your home, to add a little bit of extra 'happy'.
This ceramic piece took two weeks to make! The altar and figurines were carefully made using a smooth white ceramic clay that was allowed to dry before it was bisque fired, hand painted, bisque fired again and finally, covered in a clear glaze and fired at a temperature of over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit!
This shelf comes with a hook, for hanging, if you wish. Please note that the figurines are not attached. You can arrange them as you like and secure them onto the shelf/altar if you will be hanging the shelf/altar. (I sometimes use sticky dots to keep my pieces in place, if I know I won't be moving the pieces.)
All of the underglazes and the clear glaze used in this set are lead free. All of our work is fired at a high temperature, so our pieces are very durable and made to last, but please take good care of this piece, as dropping it could cause it to break.
Please note that every set ordered will have its own adorable personality and may be slightly different from the ones in these pictures, as they are handmade products made without any molds. But don't worry - we don't ship anything that doesn't meet our 'cuteness' standard and everything is lovingly made, as if we were making it for our own home.
